The baseline emissions are calculations based on data Bar Code Data Ltd has captured from 2024-2025. Bar Code Data Ltd are currently in the process of achieving ISO 14001 and as part of this process will be obtaining information to be able to report on Scope 3 emissions accurately. The emissions calculations provided below are based on our best endeavours.

Emissions Reduction Targets

In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets:

> Reduce CO2 emissions by 30% within 5 years

> Reduce office generated waste by 50% within 5 years

We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next 5 years in direct proportion to business growth.

Carbon Reduction Projects

We aim to implement the following projects to reduce our carbon emissions:

Short Term:

• Implement an environmental and sustainable management system to that complies with ISO 14001

· Increase the number of full or hybrid work-from-home roles in order to reduce our emissions generated from staff commutes.

• Identify and collaborate with our Tier 1 suppliers to identify areas for improvement

•Utilise modern technology to better engage with our customers remotely, for example by holding webinars instead of attending exhibitions to help reduce business travel miles.

Long Term:

• Switch energy supply to a green energy provider

• Implement policies to become paper-free in sales and accounting administration

Completed projects in FY 2024/25

• Implemented a full material width manufacturing process in our label production facility, reducing waste created by inefficient production cycles- Completed 2024.

• Transition of 75% of company vehicles from fossil fuel to electric vehicles. Completed 2024.

Declaration and Sign Off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 006 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.

Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard^[1] and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting^[2].

Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard^[3].

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
